Landmark and Innovative Dining & Lounge
Asia de Cuba blends the brilliant design of Marcel Wanders with innovative menus, incorporating the best of Asian and Latin cuisines and producing intense flavors distinctly united. The restaurant delivers imaginatively prepared signature dishes such as the Calamari Salad “Asia de Cuba” with chayote, hearts of palm, banana, cashews, chicory and radicchio, as well as specialties from its Ceviche Raw Bar, the Wild Salmon Ceviche with Avocado Helado in spicy coconut milk, bird's eye pepper and black lava salt.
Sunset Lounge offers the only bayside nightlife destination for watching the sunset over Miami's downtown skyline. Designed by international superstar Marcel Wanders, Sunset Lounge is comprised of multiple spaces, including the lobby bar and lounge with Wanders' signature silent bell light fixtures and a grand black spiraling staircase; as well as the poolside area with private cabanas created from curtains of living foliage, a tented adult–sized sandbox and a labyrinth garden with discrete "kissing corners." Guests will enjoy a poolside music program that blends island- and South American-inspired sounds, with later hours offering a more upbeat soundtrack.

Uniquely designed by Marcel Wanders, Mondrian’s main swimming pool is surrounded by sun-soaked lounge pillows, lush gardens hung with hammocks and landscaped into a labyrinthine trail with lounge areas, secret pathways and “kissing corners.” A second level terrace offers flexible entertaining spaces for dining, private events, and enjoying the superb sunset views. Separate kids’ pool and play areas include a tented sandbox and toy room and large cabanas for family rental. Cocktails, light fare, spa treatments, and private cabanas are also available poolside. Jet skis, boating and water sports are offered on the bay.
One of only three marinas located on South Beach, Mondrian Marina offers 26 boat slips that hold up to 65-foot yachts and provide luxurious onsite services.

“Fabulous design! Stunning”
This is a beautiful hotel. The modern design is well conceived, inside and out to the pool, down to the face of the beautiful girl in the lobby who is portrayed in every hotel room with a different hat. (We had to change rooms, and there she was again!)
“One of the best in Miami Beach”
The Mondrian was absolutely great. The staff/service/cleanliness was unparalleled. I've stayed at many hotels and none compare to the experience at the Mondrian. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

“Awesome if you like modern and clean”
Great hotel with a good but reasonable party atmosphere. As long as you are a couple of floors above the lobby, nothing down there will bother you in the comfort of your large, clean and funky room. The staff were great and service was second to none. Beds are super comfortable and the linen is great. The only very minor drawback is location in relation to the beach. But you are talking just a couple of blocks walk. Which for most people is fine.

“Great space for the price”
We have a small child and were really happy with the Mondrian in terms of space, cleanliness, atmosphere and ease at which we could go to the nearby Wholefoods and keep milk, snacks etc in our room. Maybe not the average Mondrian guest (especially around the pool at the weekend) but still liked the fact that we were in a design-forward, modern hotel and still very comfortable even with a child. Everyone was extremely helpful and child-friendly - if only every hotel had such good service. The room was really big for the price and we enjoyed our long weekend.
“beautiful hotel”
I was upgraded to a suite with amazing veiw of the bay. Beautiful hotel, friendly helpful staff. if you are a beach person it's not for you. I was there during a cold spell so I didn't miss any beach time. Hotel is quite far from many places, need a taxi or rent a car but if you don't mind a long walk you can get to Lincoln Road by foot. Whole Foods is around the corner which is a plus.
“Cool and Modern Vibe”
I really enjoyed my experience at the Mondrian. Very modern and clean. I really liked the pool are and the concierge did a great job of getting us into some great restaurants. A little ways from the more happening areas of Miami but good if you want to be slightly more removed.

this trip was great since it was a surprise trip the hotel was the key the mondrian is one of the coolest places ever the decor alone designed by marcel wenders is the bomb when I saw it online I had to stay its expensive well sure at christmas and new year looming but it was worth it the look and poolside atmosphere it was like a vacation in san tropez, or the riveria the rooms were spectacular you have to go online and view this place for real I could on and on but it was soooo cool and the staff were friendly they had nightlife in the main lobby and top shelf dining and a kiosk in the lobby were you order ben&jerrys ice cream for a yr for 299.00 what!! or a bentley and they would bring it to the hotel insane!!!
