“Fantastic location.”
Hotel was a great bargain. The location was within walking distance of Hollywood Blvd. (two blocks away). Several great restaurants were within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and the hotel was secure with on site parking.
“Location Location Location”
When you hear Location Location Location, its the truth this was no more than 10 miles from ALL our destinations LA LIve and Staples Center Dodger Stadium Hollywood and Sunset hot spots Beverly Hills Hollywoos hill everything was with in a short drive will always have this in my mind when staying in the hollywood LA area
“Great family time!”
We were plesantly surprised at how the hotel looked. It has been renevated. The rooms were clean and the bathroom looked new. The room is small and the beds are doubles (if you are over 6' tall you will hang over on the bed). We just wanted a place to sleep since we would be out and about the whole day. This fit the bill. I would recommend this place and I would stay here again. We walked during the day around the area (wouldn't late at night). The only thing that this hotel could add to make it perfect - a swimming pool.
“A little Home in Hollywood”
This was my third time using this location and I am always satisfied. Every staff member I came in contact with were happy and cordial. Towels quickly replaced when needed. Loved the hot water for the shower!!

Nice, clean, and comfortable stay. Good value for your money, just what you expect of a hotel with this price range. Great location in Hollywood near the Hollywood sign, Hollywood walk of fame, and not very far from Beverly Hills. I would go there again

“Not too bad for the price”
Not too bad for the price and location. First of all, keep in mind that you're in Hollywood ... Well, at least 1 block away from Hollywood Blvd. Check in went smoothly, however, the clerk was storing an image of my ID and credit card, which made me a little nervous considering that it's never happened before (to my knowledge due to the risk associated with information storage). Anyway, I traveled with another girlfriend and felt safe there. Parking: free! & well lit Customer service: no issues. Great people Room: a few updates, older beds, new shutters, new sink Tv: didn't watch Noise: streets were a little loud, but it didn't bother us too much. We could hear the person above us walking around in their room but couldn't hear voices anywhere else. Other: there was a tiny Gap on the bottom of the door which mentally bugged me (small enough to allows bugs to get into the room). They provide you with plenty of towels for 2, soap, and shampoo. Check out was smooth. there was a restaurant in the hotel, but we ddint eat there since there were tons of restaurants close by. If you're looking for something in this price range, this inn isn't too bad for the price. If you're picky and have high expectations, I say pay the extra $50 for a better place.

We felt safe and comfortable in this hotel. Good value for your money, rooms nicely remodeled. Freeway close to everything. Good parking. I would definitely return.
“Fair price, good location.”
This hotel is not a bad choice for a night out in Hollywood. It's close to the Metro, shops, restaurants, clubs, etc. and it's hard to beat the price.
“Good location for a night out in Hollywood.”
The Dunes Inn is near many bars and restaurants in East Holywood and Los Feliz and there is a Metro stop nearby at Hollywood/Western. I would recommend this hotel as a no-frills place to sleep after a night out.
