"Loved being on the lake! Family of ducks kept us entertained. Brand new dock right out our front door. Everything was clean. Very reasonable and comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating to our needs. This property is close to town, and not far from the waterpark and brewery/winery. A great time was had by all 4 generations! ❤️"

"The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...

"The pool and hot tub were excellent. Beds were average to above average. King-size bed is really a Queen. Comfortably sleeps 10 upstairs and 11downstairs. Living room furniture is ready for replacement along with the patio chairs. It was fun being able to get 8 chairs around the table for food and games. Appliances, kitchen items and linens were perfect. Loved having a good washing machine and dryer. Overall, loved being there. Would love to stay there again sometime."

"We (11 of us) had a great time at this property on Lake Darling. We caught sunfish off of the dock, the kids enjoyed playing in the water around the dock. We rented a pontoon from Lake Darling Resort, grilled, had a couple campfires. Weather was great as well. The only downsize is the busy road that the property is located on, could hear the traffic, but we spent all of our time on the lake side."

"We fished, kayaked, visited Alexandria’s independent book store and relaxed surrounded by bird sounds. The northern light display soaking in the hot tub pretty much sums it up. For three days we saw no others on the lake. Cabin has that up north Minnesota feel. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were traveling but kept in touch. Thank You"

"Our stay at Darling Lakeview was perfect ! The house was exceptionally clean and our host provided everything we needed . We had a weekend of delicious food , wine and even dessert. We all loved the abundance of natural light that all the windows allowed and the cozy fireplace in the evening. Thanks again for a fantastic stay !! :)"

"Lake Latoya is a wonderful lake. So clean. We enjoyed using the large yard to run energy out of our 3 year old grand daughter. Cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen for utensils. As stated in the description you need to bring all of you kitchen groceries, all the way down to salt and pepper. 😁 Would go back again in a heart beat!
