"This is a good sized apartment and is great for 8 people, maybe not so much for 10 but the lounge area is very spacious and the kitchen is spacious and really well equipped, I have never seen over 10 frying pans! The stairs are steep and about 5 stories overall on various levels so not good for anyone not wanting this and is tiring but this is just something to note in your choice. "Extremely nice staff, well positioned, although it's clear that it needed to open immediately although unfinished: Our terrace was a combination of rockwool isolation and water falling down, the garage is filled with rocks and construction dust, the immediate surrounding is filled with dangerous constructies debries like screws and razorsharp tile cuttings. Even next to the outside doors of the pool area. Prices should be lowered until construction is finished"

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"The chalet was lovely but a proper hike to get to it. The listing is very misleading when it says 1 min walk or ski in / ski out. You have to do a walk to and from the bus stop which is a hike after a day skiing. Or a long walk through the woods in the dark which is 20 minute walk as the bus only comes once an hour. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful throughout the booking process and we were particularly grateful to him for his help when we were forced to change the dates so we could attend a funeral.
