"If you would like to get away to somewhere quiet where there are no distractions, I highly recommend Marula. The exotic animals are a real treat. Marula is far enough out to be quiet but still close enough to Kerrville and Fredericksbirg to find plenty to do. The accommodations are great and even on a 100 degree day the AC is surprisingly good."

"That about sums it up ! Very peaceful place to watch hummingbirds, or float in the river. My older married kids enjoyed kayaking and paddling boarding. Did a little fishing and a whole lot a sittin and enjoying the peace and quiet."
