We loved the location on a private stretch of the river. Although the water level was low, there was enough a flow that we could wade in a bit and hang out by the water. The River House was great! It was clean and cozy, and there was plenty to do in Kerrville for the kids. There was even a tiny little fire pit on the property, which was nice for roasting some s’mores. My only complaint is that the property has a section that does border the river, but it’s about 150-200 feet away from the house and you have to get to by going under a little sketchy bridge. ##### Patrick C. WE we were a bit surprised that you can’t see the River from the house but it’s just a very short walk (or drive) to get to the beautiful shady river front private swimming area and kayak put in spot. It was not. But this was the next best thing. I think you need to let people know it is not handicap accessible just for that reason. With that being said I loved this place.
