"My wife and I had our grandson with us and the room was very comfortable. Especially liked the beds. Hotel was very quiet and we were able to sleep in without being disturbed. The downsides: Bathroom sink was clogged. That can happen and hotel fixed it quickly except that it was still slow. Better and we could use it but not good. They were having problems with self parking and we ended up paying twice since our cards would not work. The hotel was good about fixing that on our bill but...

"Hotel is cute and old fashioned. Lots of character. However, once I notified the front desk that I had a small dog I was asked if it was a service dog? They said only service dogs were allowed and it is $70 extra. I told the person that I specifically chose pet friendly option when trying to find a place and that this hotel came up, amongst others. He said that $70 is common, which I disagree. We had other hotels not charge at all and others only $20-25. "

"This motel is under complete renovation. It still has some old unsightly structures to be removed. However the new portions of the lobby and room wings are wonderful. Clean and spacious. The facility has modern security and crime prevention. Easy access one block off of I-35 & 29. Our room was in a new wing and was really nice. New features and amenities everywhere. Great king bed. Easy access. Modern lighting and accessibility and heating and cooling. Nice plush towels and toiletries. A total surprise and an unbelievable rate. I almost hate to give it such a great rating as it will surely help drive demand and pricing. This motel is a real treat and will only be getting better. We will be back. Thanks KC Inn!"
