“Very impressive”
Very nice hotel, highly recommended.
“If my husband and I ever go back to Hong Kong in the near future, we would only choose Upperhouse.”
The hotels we stayed in Hong Kong so far I think Upperhouse is the best. it is a boutique hotel, cosy, clean and they have the young and very pleasant staff. They tried to do their best to help you even though their English speaking is not the best so I prefer to speak Cantonese with them!
“Great Luxury Hotel -- True 5 star experience”
The Upper House Hotel is located on HK island, Central area. It is on top of the JW Marriott hotel with its own foyer and entrance at street level. Having stayed at many hotels in Asia I can say that this hotel has set a new standard for 5 star hotels. Many properties will now have to reconsider their ranking and down grade themselves to 4 star as a result of the Upper House's attention to detail, decor, presentation and levels of service. It is luxury at its highest with great staff and service to go with it. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel limo, a hassle drive to the hotel where we were greeted by name upon arrival. A speedy ipod checkin in the room, as the hotel is paperless. The large room was pure luxury, with views over the harbour, even from the full length bath. Complimentary mini bar or should I say maxi bar was a pleasant surprise. The king size bed was super comfy and of course being high, the room was quiet. Due to it's location in the heart of the financial district, it is primarily a business hotel, which also means that the 49th floor Cafe Gray was loud and noisy as it was full of business types so a quiet drink or meal was not possible. The hotel location is not convient for either the ferry or shopping unless you are into designer stores then Pacific Place which is opposite is simply full of them as well as several good places to eat. We enjoyed our 3 day stay, highly recommended.
“Nothing to complaint”
Everything is so perfect. Too good to comment.
“One of the best ever”
Impeccable service, beautiful room (including an entirely separate room just for the bathtub), overall one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, but particularly for the price. Convenient as it sits atop a mall, and centrall located for business purposes. But it made me want to cancel all my meetings and stay in the room the whole day.
“Flawless”
Modern with excellent service and attention to detail.
“Best Hotel in Hong Kong”
This was my first time staying at the Upper House and on the Hong Kong after staying at several 4.5-5 start hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that this will be our new HK base. The rooms were very spacious and the service impeccable. The location cannot be beat as one minute walk from the hotel entrance to the Pacific Place Mall elevator would essentially take you to the MTR station or any level of the Mall. While more pricey than staying at the nearby Marriot, Shangri La or Conrad, if you are looking for a nice upgrade and a upscale but quieter environment, the Upper House is the prefect place. The service was impeccable, and it was a nice touch to have complimentary Wifi and snacks and beverages. Free beer, pop and water in the fridge along with snacks.
“Cruisers”
The quality of service is quite remarkable and the location is very convenient. Cafe Grey is a bonus.
“Modern designer hotel, but no pool & spa”
Very modern hotel, huge designer rooms, great bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, sits right on top of the Pacific Place shopping mall ensuring good central location close to everything in Hong Kong. However, next time I will stay at the Four Seasons due to lack of pool and spa and very basic gym at The Upper House.
