"It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences."

"Lakeview Motel met all my expectations. It was very clean and I am a bit of a clean freak, beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The lady who checked us was very nice and gave us all sorts of information. "Lakeview Motel met all my expectations. It was very clean and I am a bit of a clean freak, beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The lady who checked us was very nice and gave us all sorts of information. Being able to park out front of our room was very convenient and the little balcony was great for hunny to pop out for a smoke. Close to restaurants and Tim Hortons is just a hop skip and jump down the road. If needed you can buy beer and wine from the office. The only thing I would take stars off for, was it an option, would be the price. Although Lakeview Motel is excellent the only problem was I thought it was a little pricey. Maybe that’s just me, but if I hadn’t wanted to be right around the corner from what we came up to do, I could have stayed in a beautiful B&B in Minden for less and had a breakfast included in the price. But Lakeview Motel is a good, clean and comfortable place to stay and if I had to stay in Haliburton again I would definitely stay there. "
