"Was amazing stay. Online says a donation for wood, but then in the cabin there’s a certain price to pay. Which isn’t a bad overall price. Also we were only allowed to have a fire from 7pm-7am. When we go camping we like having a fire earlier in the morning especially when it’s cold. And we have fires through out the day as well to cook. I know there’s a bbq to cook on but when camping we like camping on an open fire."

"We liked how spacious the upper and main level were, with various sitting areas to lounge & congregate. The bedrooms were lovely & beds were comfy. The stand alone tub was a fabulous feature. Outside, we loved roaming around the property & forest. The snowshoes & sauna was a hit. We could feel a connection with nature & spotting deers was special."

"Great spot in the woods away from the world! The cabin is cozy and has all the basics needed plus more. The view is great, the lake is very private and quiet (in Wayne's words... "you can hear a bee fart"). Wayne was a a helpful host who was accessible but not intrusive, We especially loved the sauna ! Barb & Denise "

"It was perfect, everything about this property was on point! My husband and I throughly enjoyed this lakefront property! The water is crystal clear, great swimming, even when it rained the one afternoon the lookout over the glass railing deck is exceptionally beautiful! Property had everything you need for a quick get away, so relaxing! We will be back for certain!"

"Ollie was a great host. He was so helpful and nice. The bunkie was adorable and excellent. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable--we slept really well on it. The composting toilet in the very clean outhouse was perfect and did not smell at all. The camping shower worked great for us. The only thing I would do if I owned the property would be to tidy up a bit. There were some bottles and canisters and stuff lying about in the woods and some ancient equipment that I would haul away. All in...

"Its was nice but spent sometime dealing with ants 🐜 had traps down but need to deal with the problem outside traps that push in to the ground, all in all i like it there very peace full ."

"It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences."
