The staff were very helpful, in particular the young lady at reception upon my arrival and also the the helpful waitress. "The staff were lovely but I would say the rooms could do with some TLC. The walls were chipped and scraped and the seal along the shower screen was dirty and old and there was a stain on the carpet and a musty smell in the room. I wouldn’t say the rooms are 5 stars but the bed was great."

"We had absolutely no issues staying here. It was good value for money and had some handy amenities nearby. It was about a 40 minute walk out of city centre but very doable. Breakfast was fine and the room was fine - as I said, no issues and good for what we paid. Only downfall was there was a smell of damp in the room and bathroom (bit of mould in the bathroom) but not so strong it was unbearable. "
