“A relaxing stopover on the trip”
I've stayed at the Ramada in Golden a few times, usually on business, a couple of times on recreational trips. It's a little bit expensive, but it's a nice, relatively new hotel with a pool and hot-tub, and a free breakfast to get you going in the morning. Just a word of warning that if there are traffic issues on the highway (fairly common in this area), it's not unusual for the hotel to fill up quickly, so it's wise to phone ahead and confirm a reservation if you're stopping here. This hotel is not in downtown Golden (it's on the highway), so it's a short drive downtown if you'd like to go there for dining or shopping.

very friendly hotel - would stay again on my way through. Clean. Slept in and missed breakfast. Recomended
“Clean and comfortable”
This is a good option and is well-located. Breakfast was popular with most guests taking the continental back to their rooms - there aren't that many places to sit in the breakfast room! Even so, it was well-stocked. The fitness room was more than adequate and the hot tub hot enough! Overall, this a decent place to stay and I would stay there again.
“GOLDEN RAMADA”
I had a trip from Calgary to Vancouver and stayed on the way in 4 Hotels including Ramada. It's the best compared to all other hotels I stayed in
“Overnight stop”
The hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stop (we were travelling from Kimberley to Banff). The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with free wifi. We had a room at the back which was very quiet, perhaps front rooms might be noisy as the road is the main Trans Canada Highway although the hotel is set well back. Not somewhere to spend a holiday but perfect for our needs.

we found the hotel staff very friendly, the pool area was very clean, and we loved the continental breakfast, well, the kids loved the waffle making station. We will definatly stay again :)
