“Christmas in Galveston”

Not many facilities or restaurants are open in Galveston on Christmas, but the Tremont was perfect for our holiday with family.

“Worth the money.”

It was a wonderful stay. My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend for our 2 year anniversary. It felt like a dream. The hotel was so nice. The staff was really helpful and they knew who you were. The only down side was, that the hotel itself only offers valet parking which was an extra $15 +tax. Overall however, an excellent stay. Worth the price.

“Great place to stay for adults”

The only uncomfortable thing was the a/c, but it was not so bad that I felt I needed to report it. I just like to freeze at night. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very polite and professional. Parking is limited, I recommend the valet instead of leaving car on the street. The rooftop is small, but has a good view. Very romantic and quite.

“Excellent hotel”

Charming hotel just one block from The Strand, a street of restored shops and restaurants in Galveston. Room was large, well-appointed, and relaxing. Restaurant was adequate although not much business. Galveston itself appears to be suffering this summer as tourist traffic is way down. I would highly recommend this hotel as a romantic weekend getaway.

“Fantastic atmosphere and elegance. Will return.”

Absolutely fabulous. Service and professionalism amoung staff was great. Inquiries were answered with a smile. Convenient location to beach, the Strand, and tourist sights. Room 206 is FABULOUS!

“Galveston's Best Hotel”

We love this hotel. It's just blocks from all the shops, entertainment, and a few nice places to eat that are located on the strand. We go there every year for our wedding anniversary.
