HAS A KING BED! Our home is located in the beautiful historic duck pond neighborhood. It is an easy walk to all local attractions:
• Less than a 4 min Uber to the UF stadium
• 1 Block off of University Ave
The home is easy walking distance to campus and sporting events. Perfect for a group of University of Florida alumni or parents attending sporting events, graduations or parents weekends.
The house can sleep 18 people comfortably (1 king, 6 queen, 4 twin beds). Also, there is a large yard perfect for hosting family and friends. We have a large swimming pool.

We had a great time at the house ! The two homes together were the perfect size for all the kids and grandkids ! We all loved the pool ! We were a little surprised that there was not place to grill outside ! Also not one extra blanket in either house. Overall I would recommend staying here !!

Wonderful Experience
The home was perfect for our ladies prayer retreat. There were 17 of us and we all fit comfortably. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking. We had a minor issue that needed to be addressed and Nick was quick to respond and send someone out to help. Our group is talking about staying there again. Thank you to our host for helping us have a beautiful weekend!

Location great but lacking in many areas
Communication while there was great but we felt some things were misleading or not maintained. We gave list to owner as well. *Dishwasher handle was falling off when we got here. And dishwasher isn't attached to cabinet. * Return air filter in floor is completely dirty. *Master sink is about 80% clogged, and faucet mounts are extremely loose. Shower doesn't drain well either. My wife said tub was too dirty to bathe in. I killed multiple bugs running across floor in there as well. *There's not enough cookware to make a supper for a family of 5 (my wife made our salad in a pot because there were no serving bowls). And definitely not enough for a house that advertises sleeping up to 18. * Pool was very cloudy, couldn't even see bottom in the shallow end. * Pictures of pool showed a fence for more privacy, which is obviously not the case anymore so a little deceiving on website. * Hall bathroom toilet handle was falling off...I hand tightened the plastic nut enough to work but prob should check it. *Lots of trash under the porches (cans, bottles, bags, etc). We've stayed in vrbo properties for 10 years, and understand sometimes you get different levels of upkeep, but this one was the bottom in our experience. Nothing that couldn't be fixed up, but needs to be done if you'd like repeat clients that aren't just here for a football weekend.

Incredible graduation
This is a phenomenal house! We rented it for my graduation and we’re able to house everyone under one roof that is extremely close to the stadium. The communication with Nick was outstanding. The house is situated as two homes, which was nice that each side has a fridge to keep drinks, and two living rooms. If you have a large party traveling with you to Gainesville you need to rent this property! It is close to everything and the neighborhood is old Florida historic vibes. We would definitely stay here again!

Dad’s 93rd birthday
We celebrated my dad’s 93rd birthday at University House. The weather cooperated and we were able to be outside on the porches and in the pool enjoying the breezes. The home allowed us to gather friends and family with family members spending the night. We enjoyed our stay.

Great for large group in quiet location
This site offers two homes connected by a covered breezeway - plenty of space for our large group of birdwatchers. We appreciated the range of rooms and beds that we had to choose from - so much space!

Double booked. Canceled by the owner at last minute.
I rented the property 2 weeks in advance. After a few unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner, the evening before my arrival date with everything fully paid I was finally able to contact him because I called the VRBO customer service line. Only for him to tell me that by accident he had double booked my reservation and for that reason he was canceling it. My family was on the way and I had nowhere to receive them and spend the Eastern weekend. Regardless of my situation he canceled my reservation telling me that in 5 to 10 days I would have my full refund. At this point all hotels and properties in the area were sold out. He put me through a terrible moment . And additional to that he put the $250 deposit on hold in my card as if I had been at his property that weekend. All the money was refunded but nothing will return the time and weekend that as a family we wanted to spend together.
