"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."

"We stayed at this property during the first week in October. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 40 to 73. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. The pool is wonderful. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area, and you need to have transportation to get to them. "Our host, Ana, graciously provided a wonderful fresh bread each morning and other foods for breakfast. The apartment was clean, with two barrooms with very comfortable beds and, when the weather got hot, AC. The view of the Douro down below is lovely at night. "We were accomodated to check-in earlier which was appriciated. The appartement was clean with basic accommodation. The appartement was very humid which was a bit unconfortable. The patio area was to share with your neighbor and was quite worned out. The view was great. Very close to resto and activities. Be prepare to climb hills!!! Parking on street was easy, right in front of appartement."
