“Clean and quiet”
the location was great - blocks from the train station. we walked to everything we wanted to see.

I loved this hotel very much!!!! The room is big, comfortable and very clean. It is very close to the train station, very convenient for those who are travelling by train. I would stay there again! Great choice! You won't be disappointed!
“One of Florence's Hidden Treasure”
When we chose to stay in this hotel, it was because of the positive reviews from people who have stayed at Porta Faenza Hotel. After we got to the hotel, we were very impressed with it and right away regretted only booking two nights. It is a wonderful hotel and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. It was very clean, and you can tell that there is pride in ownership. On top of all this, it was reasonably priced. The hotel is conveniently located near the train/bus station. Breakfast at the hotel is very substantial. The staff is fluent in English and they are very helpful with the guests. We are already planning our next trip to Florence and without a doubt, we are definitely staying here.
“Ideal Hotel”
We would certainly recommend the Porta Faenza for its ideal situation on a quiet street near the railway station. It was extremely handy for all the sights. Our bedroom was very big with a large walk-in shower and a separate bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had an excellent variety.
“A perfect base from which to explore and enjoy Firenze”
On a quiet street a quick walk from the railroad, the Porta Faenza is indeed a gate not only to the Via Faenza but to all of what a first-time visitor will want to see in Florence. The room was spacious but cozy, and well-appointed. The staff helpful and immediately responsive. The elevator to carry luggage to our second floor room was larger than most in Europe. Breakfast was delicious and varied, although the American coffee, while in ample supply, should have been Italian. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay.

This hotel was great! High ceilings, great staff, free internet, good breakfast, awesome location. Not much more to say othat than we will be back.
“Pleasant Stay at Porta Faenza”
Great hotel! Stayed there Thanksgiving week with family group of four. Easy walk to train station and other sites. Very large room with updated bathroom and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and would return on my next trip to Florence.
“Great people excellent hotel”
This hotel is great value and deserves a great review. We have travelled extensively and found the bright cheery staff to be extremely helpful. The rooms were large and immaculate. The hotel has a real charm about it and is a short walk from the train station. All major attractions are very close as well. We hope to revivisit soon. Oh the included breakfast was fine as well.
“Surpassed our expectations”
Our reaction when we opened the door to our room was "wow". It was very spacious and decorated beautifully, with rich hardwood floors and a high wood ceiling with painted details. It actually looked much nicer than the pictures. The bathroom was large even by American standards and everything was spotless. The location was great and the staff is very helpful.
“great central location!”
good value hotel. pleasant helpful staff and lovely rooms all air cond. our room was right on street but shutters and soundproofing cut down most noise (earplugs helped too) great location 5mins stroll to duomo and 2 mins from train station. i will certainly be back!
