“Just so easy”
The reception staff were very, very helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was all we needed. The position of the hotel was ideal. Eating places nearby , convenient and good. Hope to go back.
“Palazzo dal Borgo”
Overall, the hotel was nice. It was in a good location and the room was clean. My room had a fresco on the ceiling and a view of the Santa Maria church from my window... nice. The hotel reception could have been nicer. They were having problems with internet service that prohibited me from making my next hotel reservation in Rome. Despite these minor problems, I would stay there again.
“charming small hotel”
Lovely, elegant, slightly shabby, small hotel very near the train station. Staff were extremly helpful. Hotel has the feel of a pensione. It is a bit out of the way but since this was my second visit to Florence I knew the restaurants to go to- all within walking distance of the hotel. Very charming common areas. My one complaint is that the wifi does not really work in the rooms, and only rarely in the bar area and I ended up using their rather expensive computer tucked into the hallway. That having been said, I will definately stay here again. This hotel is a real find.

Hotel located in the old noble building is totaly renoved with elegant and regular size rooms. Good deal for us.
“Wonderful moderate hotel”
We arrived on a train, hotel was convenient to train station, nice plaza nearby, easy walk to most sights in Florence. Front desk staff were helpful, we made reservations prior to our arrival for the Accademia and Uffizi Gallery. This was helpful. Very nice hotel, well priced, we would stay there again. Next time we would ask for a room away from the front street, however it quiets down at night so it wasn't a problem.
“Great location in Florence within easy walk from train station”
This hotel was a quick walk from the train station and could accommodate our family of four in one room. They served a nice breakfast. Was also an easy walk to the Duomo with lots of nearby restaurants.
“Best Hotel in Florence”
We had reservations at Hotel Aprile in Florence, Italy. When we arrive they imformed us of a Booking System problem they were having, so they sent us to there Sister Hotel Rivoli across the street, there was no waiting at all, 10 mins. later we were setteled in our room at Hotel Rivoli, the hotel is Awesome and highly recomened it to anyone staying in florence. There Breakfast is 5 Star for sure as the Hotel.Thanks Hotel Aprile/Hotel Rivoli
“Great hotel but noisy...”
This is an awesome little hotel and is a quick walk from the train station. We had a room on the 3rd floor on the street which was great during the day for people watching but very noisy at night as we could hear every scooter and motorbike drive by all night long. We were so excited to explore Florence that it was a minor inconvenience. The breakfast was great and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean and bright. It's also easy to walk to all the amazing attactions of Florence (Duomo / Ponte Vecchio / Pitti Palace / etc). Good luck and have fun!
“Lucky Find”
Without any prior knowledge, I chose Hotel Aprile for my 10 day stay in Florence. This little gem was perfect for my needs. An extremely comfortable and quiet room # 63 (the church bells at S M Novella did chyme at 7:15 am, but I found it quaint - not having any pressing schedule, I went back to sleep). The breakfast of 7:30-10 am croissants, eggs, ham, yogurt, granola, coffee was a perfect start to the day. The staff was most helpful, including accomodating my daughter for an evening when she had an emergency in her apartment. English acceptable. Close to the train/bus terminal, but down a side street so not noisy nor too busy. My stay in Florence was enhanced by Hotel Aprille.
