Personally, I really enjoyed this hotel. With one double bed and two singles on the ground floor, it was perfect for my family. Our air conditioner worked great. I thought the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was very good. You could serve yourself as much coffee, tea, juice, rolls, butter, yogurt, cereal, as you wanted, and they also had nice bologna and cheese out that would make a tasty sandwich. The breakfast steward was hard-working and excellent. The breakfast room was great. Also, The garden outside was nice and you could eat out there or just hang out at night.

Nice Euro hotel. Breakfast great and adequately stocked. Spacious rooms. Conveniently located within walking distance to city center. Would stay again.

“A Very Good Place to Stay”

Location of the hotel is just off the River Arno and a pleasant walk to the center of city. 10 minute walk to the train station and a quiet location make this hotel a nice find. Our room had a fantastic layout that gave us the bedroom, small seperate sitting room and seperate bath. Front desk was friendly, breakfast was decent. All in all, I would stay there again.

hotel is close to all major sites, follow the river for scenic, beautiful,romantic walks. Very safe neighborhood to walk at night, community theatre around the corner...little cafes and market close by....nice outdoor garden sitting area, good buffet breakfast, free internet, will definitely return.

Loved the little deli around the corner from the hotel. since dinner doesn't start till around 7pm it was nice to be able to get a good snack. Very quiet location no traffic noise about 15 minuites to the sites

“Great Location/real character”

Was close to river Arno for strolls to sights, rooms had high ceilings and great tiled floors, original. Free wireless internet. Breakfast sufficient, nothing over the top, but enjoyable. It was perfect for us.

“Family Stopover”

The Ariele is well located at excellent value for families. We were a family with two older children and were delighted with the accomodation. We had a good nights sleep and a comprehensive buffet breakfast each morning. The hotel is within walking distance of the main train station and many attractions, a post office at the end of the street and the nearby restaurants recommended by the hotel were excellent value for money.

“Very Nice for the Price”

We were only going to be in Florence for a couple of days. We chose this hotel for the proximity to Santa Maria Novella station and for the relatively low price. The room was clean, large and had its own bathroom. The bed was a little soft for my taste but my wife loved it. The bedding was fanstastic, though. Great service at breakfast and there is a little garden to sit in if you choose. The hotel made some good recommendations for restaurants and most of the tourist spots are within walking distance (albeit a good hike to some). The hotel has a computer for the guests to use which did come in handy. Have patience. The computer is quite slow. If I had a complaint, and it was minor, it was that the front desk help seemed to a little short on patience. Still, they were very helpful.
