Property Amenities
Between May and September guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the city views from the rooftop solarium. Over June and July the terrace also hosts live jazz accompanied by aperitifs. A marble-topped bar is also open over the summer serving a range of drinks and snacks. Alternatively, an American bar is open year-round in the reception area overlooking the piazza.
Facilities for business guests include complimentary wireless Internet access and a complimentary Internet connection point. All hotel guests are also offered discounted access to the facilities at a nearby fitness centre.

The Grand Hotel Minerva has 102 guestrooms spread over its six floors, all of which are characterised by distressed wood furnishings and pastel-toned decor. Views through double-glazed windows are either over the piazza, the neighbouring church cloisters, or the inner courtyard garden.
All guestrooms provide fully-stocked minibars, complimentary wireless Internet, 21-inch televisions with satellite channels, and pay movies. Marble-tiled bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, bidets, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Nice location, pool was a god sent in the heat.

“Great little Florence hotel”
Grand Minerva has friendly and helpful front-desk staff, spacious rooms, a very convenient location, and a to-die-for roof-top pool, fabulous in summer months.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time at this hotel! It was easy to find from the train station, and I could even easily see it from the top of the bell tower! It was beautiful, clean, and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room and bathroom were very nice and had plenty of room for 2. It rained while we were there so we weren't able to use the rooftop pool, but it was just as pretty as the pictures. The view from the roof and from our own window was gorgeous! Breakfast was delicious. We would totally recommend to everyone and would definitely stay there again!

“Very lovely example”
I booked this through expedia and looked at other peoples review which overall where very good. We were attending a wedding for one of our friends who was getting married in the town hall. Although out hotel was the furthest away than all our friends it was still only 10 mins walk from the town hall. The service we experience was extremely good and everyone in the hotel was very helpful (nothing was to much trouble). The hotel is very modern and very well decorated within the Italian theme. Breakfast was very good and although we ate out all nights on our visit the hotel restraurant and its menu looked very good. Its location is minutes away from both train and bus stations which is very convenient and 10 mins walk from all the main tourist attractions. They are very helpful on reception and any activities that you would like to see can be pre-booked at reception to save quering. I would certainly return to this hotel and would definately recommend it to our friends and family if they were going to Florence. We had a great 5 days in Florence helped by the helpful and friendly staff at the Minerva.
“Fantastic location”
The hotel was very convenient for the railway station. The piazza was lovely and had a number of restaurants of good quality. It is right next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Novella which is a beautiful building. The hotel itself was quiet and efficient. The room was immaculate and looked out onto the piazza. It was cleaned daily. Breakfast was very varied and of a high quality with helpful staff.

This hotel is located near all the main attrations in Florence such as tour buses, churches, and train statiion. We loved the hotel for their kindness and hospitality. You will not have a problem with this hotel.

Nous avons prix une chambre standard (entrée de gamme) d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix, hôtel avec une vue imprenable sur Florence (piscine en prime à la belle saison) et idéalement placé (à côté de la gare centrale Santa Maria Novella et du centre historique, Duomo à 10 mn à pied !). Petit déjeuner buffet fort sympatique (varié et copieux). Hôtel d'un calme absolu (voyage hors saison). Idéal pour un week-end en amoureux (anniversaire de rencontre).
