"Stayed a few nights here in total . Really nice and good value mariott and has the look and feel of a lot of Marriott resort properties. We had one of the cheaper rooms and on a higher floor and we had great views of the sea from our daybed. The bathroom was nice and the room came with a big bath . "The hotel has everything for kids and restaurants are nearby in abundance. The sea at the time we were there (April) wasn’t super Thailand like clean. Found it strange that the hotel bar was empty and not showing any sports on the tv. It needs an update and you could see signs of it having been empty during Covid. Staff were friendly, apart from when we asked for sports coverage in the then empty bar for the kids to watch. "

"Everything about Royal Cliff is absolutely stunning. The views are unbeatable, the pool is beautiful and the service is amazing. My ONE complaint that would prevent me from staying again was the fact that I was moved twice due to a mildew smell in the room and every single room (even the one i stayed in for a week) had this awful STRONG odor of mildew. Everything else was phenomenal but the smell truly was a problem. Staff were kind and helpful but there didn’t seem to be a real solution to this...
