"It was our very first time to Algonquin. We enjoyed outdoor activities at the property on the first day, and stayed indoor for the last two days due to bad weather. We had lots of fun with Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, taking pictures, playing board games, playing Switch. The view of fall on the lake was fantastic. We even gave up visiting provincial parks nearby. It exactly like you enjoy painting pictures when you looked out the windows. The house warmed up quickly and evenly with floor heating...

"In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !"

"Property was beautiful and located right on the muskoka river. Everything was functional. We played a couple games of pool (slopes a bit) and darts. Wifi was a bit spotty so we weren’t able to watch a movie but we really enjoyed the games. The biggest down side was the air fresheners in each room. 2 of us have allergies and it really affected us. Know now to ask next time. A couple more hand towels would be appreciated. We did enjoy our time. All in all a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We liked sitting on the decks, both front and back. These were great places to read a book or just chat. Very peaceful and quiet. We also liked watching the sunsets from the dock and exploring the nearby towns. The cottage itself was well equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. "Marjan's cottage was perfect from the very first day we checked in! I stayed here with my family including my dog so I'm very happy that this cottage was pet friendly! Marjan had 2 bowls for my pet and even had a wonderful enclosed deck where my dog could play and be safe. The check in process was very easy as Marjan communicated with me in a timely manner and told me what to do to check in as soon as I arrived on her property.
