"The hotel staff wher excellent very friendly and courteous. The room was clean though some of the fixtures and fittings left a little to be dessired. The curtains were full of moth holes and one of the lampshades had seen much better days. Breakfast was good with plent of choise."

"We had a brilliant stay all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and although lots going on plenty of places to sit. We did have use of the pool and spa area which was o.k could do with updating a bit. And maybe a bit warmer. Room was clean and plenty big enough although bed was extremely uncomfortable. Me and my partner had a rough night sleep on a hard mattress which seemed to be wrapped tightly in a quilt. Would definitely return ...if we knew the mattresses were...

" Needs more hooks in the bathroom. Few of us walked into wood edges of the sofa in reception and knocked our shins. (Painful) TV in room 31 kept coming on and waking us up. Very dificult to turn off. "

"Very good value for money hotel stay. Good sized room that was well equipped- free safe, iron and ironing board. Nice additions like plenty biscuits and 2 bottles of water. Check in was pretty quick, only waited 15 minutes. Complimentary muffins at check-in was a nice surprise. Staff very pleasant "

"Celtic Manor, is good and it is a beast of a place. I can't fault the service or cleanliness but the rooms (Signature suite on 6th Floor) are getting tired and perhaps the hotel is living a little on its past glories. Breakfast was lovely and the Signature Lounge is great with a lovely view. Dinner at the Grill was also very nice. Worst item were the pillows which were old - some rock hard, others too soft without enough filling. Really need to do better here. It would also have been nice...

"Family Wedding. All gd. Tho Room for a 4 star hotel when you touch up paint on walls use correct colour. And a black mark for the room we had, had all the sockets for plugs/digital etc Except no USB Charging ports. Except 1 incorporated on rear of TV which does not charge."

"Great hotel, newly modernised with spotless rooms and shared areas. Wonderfully friendly staff in particular at breakfast! The gym was well equipped and the pool looked great. Will stay again soon! "
