"Hotel was very clean but was let down by the food. Breakfast was very good, bar meals basic but overpriced. A bad experience in the restaurant left us very disappointed. One member of party had a steak that was very tough & inedible, he was offered a replacement but it had put him off eating, apart from the waitress no one bothered to come to the table to apologise or discuss options and we were charged for the meal. "Loved the hot tubs with privacy and location"

"Lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location for a range of activities. Cosy for an October break but would be fantastic in warmer weather too. Our only small criticism was the night time temperature was set at 15 degrees and couldn’t be changed and while there was lots of cosy bedding we had a toddler who still wakes a couple of times in the night so it was a bit cold tending to him. Still a 5⭐️ break."

"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."
