"My wife and I came for a bucket list visit. The inn was cozy, convenient to everything we wanted to do, and we had a beautiful harbor view. There are bigger rooms, more luxurious hotels, but it was perfect for us. Stairs are the only drawback, but staff was helpful and friendly across the board. "

"Very nice stay, very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Clean room and quiet. We were surprised that we had to pay $30 a day to park. Also stayed in a loft , which had scary steep stairs. Just something to keep in mind if you book a loft room. We will definitely stay again. "

"I could not have been more pleased. I was travelling alone and when I arrived the hotel had upgraded my room to an ocean view. The whole experience was one of luxury and taste. The room and amenities were fabulous. I ate one meal in the bar area which also was excellent. I would highly recommend visiting the Ocean House (regardless of the cost, it must be experienced!!)"

"Truly lovely from start to finish. The property is made up of several small cottages, with a remarkable view of the ocean from the backside of the property. The location is great for the non-partying crowd. A 10 minute walk to downtown, very manageable. The host, Robin, could truly not have been kinder or more hospitable. "We liked the location of this property- right on Thames Street and within walking distance of the Newport sites. It was also very quiet at night and I slept like a rock! We appreciated the full kitchen and washer/dryer, complimentary beach towels, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. We would definitely stay there again!"

"I had an amazing stay at this inn. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying. I stayed in a smaller room and had a shared balcony and shared bathrooms. Definitely worth it in consideration to the location being close to all of the restaurants as well as the gorgeous view. The breakfast was amazing as well as all of the staff being extremely helpful to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my stay. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly as well and I have no complaints in regard to the cleanliness of my room as well as the lobby and dining area. "
