"This is the nicest property in Nagarkot. Everything was clean and comfortable and the service was great except for one incident that occurred at check in. It was pouring rain when we arrived and the staff did not come out to help us with our bags. The entrance to the property is several flights up and the staircase was a rushing torrent of water. "I feel very comfortable in this hotel. It is a great space for the price. Rooms are cleaned every day. Owners are very helpful and friendly. It is in Lakeside, a very touristy area but the neighbors are nice also. It is 2 blocks from the lake. When the power goes out, they have solar power and solar WiFi. This is a Nepali hotel with Western features or you can have smaller less expensive rooms that are truly Nepali."

"Our experience at Fishtail Lodge is as second to none. The setting on the Fewa Lake was a tranquil oasis and a much needed change of pace. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a more ideal location , close to town…restaurants and shopping but the most relaxing local surrounded by water and forest.
