"Every person we met in the hotel was extremely friendly, happy, helpful and welcoming. We were looked after so well by everyone, including dealing with allergies in the restaurant. The breakfast was good and the dinner was wonderful (very flexible with the menu). The bed was really comfortable. Even though our rooms were near the road I slept easily with my earplugs. The only slight challenge was turning on the huge rose style shower without getting your hair soaked as we didn't have a shower...

"The hotel is surrounded on the beautiful location with a lovely restaurant. It was a shame with no fridge in the room and also one of sockets was not working. "

"The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad. "

"Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and...
