"We loved the tranquility of Cavendish. The view from rooms 1&2 were breathtakingly beautiful . The green rolling hillsides with buttercups were lovely and relaxing. The staff was incredibly engaged and helpful. Adele at the front desk was amazing as was Tony who was very helpful. Stuart Bond as our server was upbeat , friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious. We look forward to returning . "

"We had a lovely stay at The Pig of Lead last week. The whole experience was great, from the warm welcome, the superbly comfortable room to the delicious breakfasts. It is a great base from which to explore the area, I can’t recommend it highly enough. "

"your charge of £7 per day for internet is unnacceptable.I do not use Travel lodge as they charge £3 your charge means that I will not return although I enjoyed everything else. I visit Buxton often as I am a committed walker Sorry"

"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well. Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "

"Our party consisted of 4 couples. We were a lot to cater for at dinner and yet the team looked after us for the two nights absolutely brilliantly. Best customer service I have seen in a very long while. In addition the rooms were well laid out, spacious and really comfortable, and the cooking was first class. Terrific stay in all respects. "It was absolutely fantastic, enjoyed the spa too. Clean room, polite staff and amazing location, green goodness everywhere and a nice garden. Only downside is that they only had complimentary cookies on Friday at the reception. 😇"
