"This place is lovely has all you need on site clean and thought out well, very peaceful away from the crowd but only a couple of miles from nice villages. Fishing was ok but the lilies really needs to be cleared. It is ideal for a couples, would definitely return. We had our dog with us he loved it and we felt very safe. "Perfect idyllic setting just off the N7 road. Welcoming host. Beautifully refurbished room in French style, with large excellent bathroom and shower. Woke in the morning to cows in the field next door. Lovely breakfast set up for us with good coffee, fresh bread and pastries, home made jams etc. We loved it."

Unlike most hotels here they did have a couple of British entertainment channels on tv. Breakfasts were normal continental but well laid out and in a bright airy room."

"We had a great time at this property. It is a lovely old building with beautiful inner courtyards and an excellent restaurant. There is an outdoor pool which my husband took advantage of and the hotel is located next to a spa. Unfortunately the spa is closed at the moment for renovations with no date given for reopening. The bedroom was well decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bourbon L’Archambault is an interesting historical town and well...
