“fantastic place to stay!”
The room was amazing! Very spacious and very clean! The pool deck was very fun and the food and drinks at the Tiki Bar were delicious and reasonably priced! Close to lots of attractions and restaurants! I will definitely be comming back to this hotel!
“Daytona beach”
Right on the beach - very large rooms - we had a 2 bedroom suite that had 2 seperate entry doors - clean and spacious - the pool and parking were very convenient - good security - highly recommended.
“Great for family vacations”
We were very happy with the service and the multiple family activities such as movies at the swimming pool, kids creative activities etc. My daugther love the slide on the swimming pool! The room had tons of space, good view and kitchen with all appliances, very comfortable for long beach vacations.
“Perfect Location and Anxious-to-Please Staff”
Daytona Beach Regency was an excellent location with very pleasant and anxious-to-please staff. Being our first trip in many years to Daytona, the restaurant and entertainment suggestions were spot on. The facility is a bit older but well maintained. The suites were well equiped. Our suite was ocean view but we were rarely indoors, we preferred long walks on the beach and to the bandshell or relaxing around the pool/beach and onsite Tiki Bar (evenings were fun with light entertainment as well). We especially liked this area of beach with no car access. While we frequently walked outside the restricted area, it was very calming to enjoy only the sand and surf. We are planning the same vacation for next year and bringing family/friends.
“Perfect Location for Ocean Center”
Excellent time-share style "suite" hotel, perfectly located near Ocean Center and Boardwalk. Small location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Having a full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom, and large bathroom (all very clean, good condition) is so much better than a standard hotel room. Would recommend one thing--try to stay on North side set of rooms as the South side is noisy from the hotel next door dumpster location--I swear they throw things in there on purpose to make excessive noise LOL. Very good about having "quite time" between 11pm and 9am so that thouse of us who are NOT partying all night will actually get some sleep. Great for kids--pool, activity center, and beach access. Great place to stay and would definitely stay there again.
“Will definately visit again!!!”
Everything from the Parking garage, to the lobby, to the elevators to the halls to the rooms, were immaculate!!! The room was spacious! We couldnt beleive how big and comfy it was! VERY clean! VERY quiet! Even though we had a "city view" we still had somewhat of a view of the ocean too! The hotel staff all were very helpfull and cheery! Will definately go back again! This was a great choice for us! We didn't want to leave!
“great hotel right on the beach”
walk right out the back of hotel cross pool deck and your on the beach. Kids loved it
“A step up from other Daytona hotels......”
Daytona Regency exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to others. The only negative was that our room faced the north, which is next door to an old gutted motel that must have been hit by the hurricanes. Since we could still see the beach, this was not a big deal. One of my friends in our room had a slight accident off premises and needed first aid. Casey at the front desk was quick to the rescue. Check in and check out was a breeze. Love the underground parking!
“Awesome Accommodations”
Thoroughly enjoyed the Regency. This was our second visit and we hope to return again soon. The location is ideal, love the family-friendly nightlife on the Boardwalk and the convenience of the Ocean Walk Shoppes. The rooms are very spacious and well stocked. I would recommend a brush to the runners on the shower doors, as that style is certainly hard to maintain, but we were very pleased with the housekeeping services. We look forward to many return visits.
“Great hotel in Daytona Beach”
This hotel was great! We visited early June 2010. Right on the beach, right next door to the Ocean Walk resort and on the no drive section of the beach. Our 2 BR 2 bath rooms were very nice. The pool and pool deck were large and the pool had a cool slide. There is a Tiki Bar as well. A few steps down and you are on the beach! The beach is wide and flat and the water very shallow pretty far out. The waves were pretty big! The sand is very fine and white with some red, not too many sea shells though. There is a game room with air hockey and pool table. The hotel provides towels, bath and beach which is nice. The hotel provides daily activities like hot dog cookout, BINGO Tshirt tye dying and shell painting. There are BBQ grills on the pool deck. A block or 2 south is the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, movie theater, mini golf, water slides and arcade. The peir is within walking distance. Ride the large ferris wheel at sunset! Amazing views! We were in Daytona for 6 days and loved it! The free parking was nice as well, though we only needed the car to go to the grocery store a couple miles north of hotel on the first day. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a kitchen and plenty of room!
