"We saw this hotel had a rating in the 7s, but our (king) bed was very comfortable and the fireplace worked great. The front desk staff were helpful. If you’re expecting a resort upscale stay, this isn’t it, but we came for a hiking trip and every day when we stopped in for a refresh the room was very nicely cleaned. During check-in (afternoon of 5/25), Rudolph was friendly, helpful and informative, and did not hesitate to allow us early check-in given that he had two rooms that were already vacated and cleaned up. When we had to unexpectedly check-out 2 days early on on 5/31, Gabe was helpful and courteous, so e left knowing that our charges were exactly correct. Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes rates are an excellent value in Mammoth, and literally across the street from several eaterie, coffee shops, and sports stores, making it a great choice for a value-oriented traveler."
