“Good Value”

This hotel is clean and in a convienent location. It is a great place to stay with a mall next door and many restaurants within walking distance. The continental breakfast was of both good quality and variety.

Extremely good value..friendly and helpful reception personnel. Very comfortable beds.Big surprise was that self-serve Continental breakfast was included for the two of us in the room ratewhich we had not expected :this consisted of juices,cereals,boiled eggs, tea/coffee and a variety of bagels and different breads with jams etc. Loads of parking. We would stay here again. It is close to a large shopping mall, a Cinema and several eating places. A short walk away at night fall you can see blue herons and bald eagles near the water.

We had a great stay in Courtenay at this hotel, it includes a very good breakfast and was very quiet. They had very nice beds and the people were great as well. Highly recommended if you go to Courtenay.

“A good place to stay”

The Travelodge, Courtenay BC was easy to find (good directions were given by telephone) and comfortable to stay at. The pool was inviting and uncrowded, the service was polite and attentive, and the "continental" breqkfast was surprisingly varied and satisfying.

A little older motel. Rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. Quiet even though on main street. Good parking. Very convenient to restaurant, all purpose shop. Little far for walking to downtown sites. Pool looked clean. Fantastic staff. Good continental breakfast.

“Great Location for Meals”

We stayed at the Courtenay Travelodge Inn for 7 nights and were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of our room for the price we paid. We had two double beds, with lots of comfortable pillows, a kitchenette, which included a microwave, mini fridge, two-burner stove and a convenient assortment of dishes...and a small dining table with two chairs - everything we needed to bring in our own meals. Our favourite thing about this location was the diversity of good restaurants and other meal options within walking distance. Our favourite place to eat was the Quality Foods grocery store located right behind the motel. The in-store food counter had just about anything you could want, and generous servings. You can eat in, or take out. We really enjoyed the Chinese food there...and the desserts over in the bakery section. The continental breakfast was very nice...wide assortment of homemade breads, muffins, cereals and even hard boiled eggs (cold). My only complaint is that the hot water was often not hot enough to make tea, but there was always a friendly attendant who went out of her way to provide hot water for me. We would definitely go back again. It's not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but quiet, clean and good value for the price.
