"We stayed just after storms had came through the area so understandably some of the property's attributes were not accessable to us. The floating dock was pulled out of the water and placed on the beach area, which didn't leave too much bank area for fishing, and obstructed the view of the water from the chair swing. The deck was huge and beautiful. The inside of the house was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes and cleaning supplies. The washer worked great and there was even a wooden rack available for drying clothes on. Beds were SUPER comfortable. We all really enjoyed staying here and hope to stay again next year!"

"This place is perfect for couples! Private, romantic and outdoor lovers dream! I cannot say enough! The pond is gorgeous and fishing access is wonderful! If the place comes up for sale we'll buy it!"

"The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful with the AC not working and the smoke detector going off in the middle of the night. The property was mostly clean except for the windowsills (we had to open the windows to air out the woodstove smoky smell downstairs) and the used kleenex on a kitchen shelf. The bed was very comfy. There is no cooktop or oven in the kitchen, just a microwave and slow cooker. The space is really great; however the surrounding yard has a lot of trash and broken glass; the property is at the end of an unpaved, very rutted road full of potholes; and there is no direct access to the lake despite the proximity."

"While this house was in a wonderful location, right on the lake, we did have several issues that negatively affected our stay. Upon arrival, there was no binder or even one page of instructions regarding the home. No instructions on how to operate the tvs or the security system, where to put trash out, etc When we turned the oven on it began to smoke! It obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while and we were unable to use it. The outbuilding with the life vests was locked and we had to hunt around til we found LOTS of old keys and had to try them all! And the additional beds in that building still had the dirty/messy sheets and blankets from the previous guests; housekeeping clearly had done nothing in there. Housekeeping didn't clean the fridge either and there was old ice cream left in the freezer. The pots and pans and dishes were all very old and worn out. I had to buy a new pan to use. It looked as though no one had vacuumed or dusted in a while. All the furniture seemed quite old and worn out. One positive note was that they provided LOTS of towels. It was a nice touch to provide small hotel toiletries, but there were 4 bottes of conditioner and only 1 shampoo. I found Vacasa's responses to my various requests for assistance very frustrating. I do not have enough characters to elaborate in this review unfortunately. I am unsure if I would be willing to rent another Vacasa property in the future."
