"This house was just like staying with family. Everything was provided and the whole house was decorated for the Christmas season. The hosts could not have been nicer. They even brought us traditional Alsatian holiday cookies and gave many recommendations for Selestat and the surrounding villages. We didn’t want to leave!"

"Jean Paul was an amazing host who supplied us with lots of lovely apple juice and also really helped us when our car broke down. The house was lovely and had a BBQ which we didn't use but was always available. The village is very quaint with a very small shop for bread (and toothbrushes!). Being fairly remote you need a car but theres two large supermarkets about 5 mins away and Selestat offers lots of larger shops as well as good rain connections to Colmer, Basel and Strasbourg. Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. And we received a strange SMS message from the housekeeper that we had to pay 100 euro extra, which was not true..."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much, the house is nice and roomy and well equipped. It’s in a private area with gate system which gives a very secure feeling although being in a sleepy village there wasn’t any cause for worry. parking space for 2 cars. We were glad of the airco in the dining area as temperatures got quite high in the afternoon/evening. "Friendly staff and a great location. Very convenient to the Homme de Fer tram station which is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Kitchen has all necessary items except for a coffee maker even though there are demitasse cups in the cabinet, there is no way to prepare espresso if you did not bring your own maker. There is free coffee in the lobby but I would prefer to make my own in my room and not have to travel downstairs to the lobby before I shower and get ready for the day. There is a...
