"I can't say enough great things about Gasthof Bären! Staff/service was super friendly and knowledgeable (and entertained my americanized stuttery-German) from check-in to check-out. The property is absolutely beautiful, clean, and I adored their patio. Breakfast was included and we stayed for dinner/drinks as well--all of which were delicious. I appreciate that the hotel was tucked away from the noise and hustle of Interlaken, but still just a short bus ride away. I will definitely book here...

"What a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, management, and owners. I got delayed on my way into Imterlaken and the manager stayed a bit after closing to make sure I got in. Top notch hospitality! This hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Affordable and comfortable. highly recommend getting breakfast as part of your stay. I will be staying here again next time I am in Interlaken. Cheers!"

"We are family of 9, got 2 rooms with 2 bedrooms each. Spacious, clean, quiet and the full kitchen was very convenient. The view on the terrace was amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Luggage storage was available for us. One thing, no available guest service after 9 so be mindful not to misplace your key cards. It happened to us, luckily we had another room to spend the night. But otherwise everything was great and we would come back again."

"The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is still within 10 minutes walk to the train station. The room is clean, with basic amenities. There is no refrigerator in the room but there is a shared one in the common kitchen. I did not give five stars only because my room has the smell of smoke. The hotel is a non-smoking one but previous guests seemed to have smoked in the room."

"This is a very nice place. Located in a central place, close to almost everything, especially the train station. The beautiful mountain is right outside, especially a great view from the balcony. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! The best one we had on our European trip. And the girl who takes care of the breakfast is so sweet and nice, always makes sure to say "Goodbye" when you are leaving. I loved this place. It's a great value, especially the breakfast. I would definitely stay here when we return. "
