Loved the location.. staff was amazing .. very welcoming and respectful..! We had all the required amenities.. we had better experience in this hotel than other stays during our visit. Breakfast was amazing, loved the fresh breads,fresh cheese, fresh croissants etc.

The hotel is 400 years old and charming. The breakfast was very nice. Going up and down 3 flights of stairs was a bit of a drag. No AC, but we opened the windows and they brought a fan for us to use. It’s close to the bus stop. Not sure if they actually have a fire escape route. (I always check my exits before retiring to our room.)

Wilderswil (the town) was a great setting, but still convent to Interlaken where our activities were focused. We could see the snow covered alps from the property. Staff members were all very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Buildings were older … we were in the satellite building, whose interior needs a refresh from a decor standpoint, it was spacious and clean. It had a mini- kitchen, but signage NOT to use it (not that we were going to for our short 1-night stay). It seemed a bit pricey, even for Switzerland.

Older property. We stayed in room 39 for 6 days in early June 2024. Narrow stairways to get to upper floors. Overwhelming deodorizer smell upon entering the room. Quaint. Breakfast staff excellent and menu was static and predictable. Price was high for being an older property in need of remodeling. Removed deodorizer sticks. No air conditioning. Opened windows for fresh air.

Hotel is straight up the hill from the train station. It is a charming hotel, but there is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor. Fortunately, a young man carried my bag up for me. My daughter had to carry her own up. Switzerland was having a heat wave. There is no a/c. There was a charge to rent a fan. We left the window open at night and got mosquito bites. Breakfast was included and good. The young woman staffing breakfast was not friendly, but she was efficient. It is a very charming hotel. Very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and shower were very small.

We loved the welcome to Switzerland hospitality here at Hotel Alpenblick. We chose to walk the 1/2 mile from the train station filling up our waters at the fountains along the way. It’s a heat wave! Pretty walk. The hotel staff greeted us and helped us with a map of the area and gave us hotel info. Our hotel room was clean and well cared for. We appreciated the shower and water in the room. No A/C (we knew ahead of time so brought a travel fan) but the breeze helps keep the room cool with the windows open. Breakfast was amazing! Meats and cheese and fresh bread and fruit and hard boiled eggs. The coffee was the best! Such a great experience. Simple yet lovely. Breakfast staff was a little grumpy but we read reviews and it’s all exterior just keep on and they show so much kindness and hospitality.

The hotel is a cozy Swiss Hotel in a picturesque quiet village 5 minutes from Interlaken by train. Great service and Michelin restaurant on the premises! Room comfortable will all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!

We arrived in Interlaken without a hotel booked and found this listing. The hotel was beautiful and everything we expected from a Swiss mountain chalet. The room was incredible with a double bed, comfortable bedding and even a steam shower. The breakfast was amazing sand so worth the cost. The hotel also boasts an amazing restaurant. There were quite a few stairs to get luggage up but there were many rooms on the main floor if needed. We love this hotel and absolutely will be back to visit.
