"Fabulous place lovingly decorated, good cooking facilities with coffee machines, juice press etc. Great communication with the very accommodating owner. The pretty terrace is totally private & great for relaxing. Next to a main road (& Villa Sigurd which gets rented out for events), so it can be a bit noisy. We would highly recommend this house and return here."

"If you are a young family with kids wanting to spend the day out and then come home to sleep with no regarding for comfort or relaxing, this is the place. It is one step above camping and probably will suit certain guests. For me the place was extremely disappointing. As you arrived the first thing you saw was the sand pit of a garden with a broken down table and four chairs. No flower pots, no signs of care or making it look loved. The living room had folding chairs and two cots for couches...

"Arcachon itself is beautiful to visit - lots to do and see. The property is in a good location, walking distance to amentities. With two small children, we found that we did not in fact go to the nearest beach but drove around to plage Periere, as it was easier to park and a shorter walk from beach to sea. The house is well equipped and rooms are a good size. The only drawback for us was the proximity of the garden to road, and our very young children playing outside the front of the...

"Upper level comfortable. Basement rooms gloomy and damp. We used public transport throughout our stay. Cost is very reasonable but bus timetables not easy to understand. Ideally a car location."
