"This hotel was recommended by family because it was clean and safe. They were right! Not only was everything perfect, but they also had a combination of firm and fluffy pillows on the bed. First time ive ever had this in a hotel. I will stay here again when i visit family. The only thing i would recommend, the anti slip treads in the shower need updating but there was a grab bar. This is my suggestion for almost every hotel but not a deal breaker."

"I have never slept in more peaceful surroundings. The fireplaces in the rooms made the stay very warm and cozy in the dead of winter. This was definitely NOT an old, drafty castle. The decor was marvelous; the wooden shutters on the windows really work to block out light. The staff was gracious and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was outstanding. I will definitely return and recommend Ravenwood Castle to everyone."

"We love staying in the lodge because of the balcony. But talk about filthy… You could write your name on all the furniture in the dust. No cups in the bathroom, no regular coffee, one coffee cup. But the staff is phenomenal. But nowhere to eat anything decent after 8 PM. The sports bar says they’re open till 10 but they don’t say there’s no food after eight. They have raised the rates quite a bit, but we still like coming here cause it’s convenient to our property two hours away. "
