"We really enjoyed the lovely apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. There was lots of space and the breakfast in the room was brilliant. The stairs are steep and it does get warm being in the roof. It was better when we kept the curtains closed while we were out. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We had some good meals in the town although it was a challenge being there ther on Monday and Tuesday before lots of places opened. The location was great for touring the area."

We arrived in the evening and I was pleased to smell familiar German cooking, although we had already eaten. The check-in was quick and simple and the room more than adequate offering a comfortable bed, white sheets and towels. The view in the morning from the balcony inspired a few photos before breakfast. The breakfast was traditional German food...

"The smells like an ashtray. The air was suffocating. The beds was 2 very small twin beds together that keep separating as we slept. No room service . No wifi provided. No stuff at night. Electric outlets were sparking when you plug a charger. Shower head broken ....😡😠😠"

"just 1 min walk from station bread and cafe store, ice cream store, kebab, pizza Rhein-Center Köln by walk just 8 mins, Supermarket REWE, LIDL are in walking distance The owner are super nice, changed bed cover, provide clean towel"

"Anfangs waren wir verdutzt das der Burghof nicht mehr Burghof hieß . Haben vom Wirt erfahren das der Name am 1.9.19 gewechselt hat. Schlüsseübergabe um 16.30 im Restaurant. Deswegen frühere Anreise nicht nötig. Zimmer völlig in Ordnung. Bei Abreise Schlüssel in Briefkasten. Völlig problemlos. Immer wieder gern !"

"Eine Unterkunft für 80 €, bei der man beim Checkin Telefonnummern wählt, die nicht besetzt sind, man 15 Minuten auf dem Hof warten muss, bis jemand zum Checkin kommt, es trotz Lüftung miefig im Zimmer war, der Lattenrost an einer Stelle nicht mehr auf dem Bettrahmen auflag, die Federn fast aus der Matratze kamen und Fenster in einen Nachbarraum ohne vollständige Gardinen davor ist eine bodenlose Frechheit!!!!"

"Wonderful hotel and staff. Family run. Clean and simple. Great restaurant with authentic German cuisine. Getting along in English was a bit of a challenge but so worth it overall. Beautiful patio with great view. A real delight"

"Checkin available only 5-8 PM. My room was very small and uncomfortable. The area is worst fior a hotel. My room was kept very cold. To save energy- I normally lik cold but that was too cold. 3% surcharge was added for paying with credit card. The manager is obviously trying to squeeze out every penny for this facility. There were much better options for equal or lower price in the Cologne area but I got stuck with this bad choice."
