“Very well appointed comfortable modern hotel”
We stayed 2 nights in late December to visit Cologne and its 6 Christmas markets. The hotel was reasonably priced and the option of including breakfast was well worthwhile. The room was clean, triple glazed, air conditioned and comfortable with a view across the rooftops to the Cathedral. The bathroom was clean and fully equipped with a short bath and shower over. Endless hot water and a heated floor made this very comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable with 3 good pillows for each person. A TV had a good range of satellite channels including BBC1 BBC2 and BBC news. There were tea and coffee making facilities house neatly in a cabinet drawer. The fittings were all of top quality and altogether it made a very comfortable place to stay for our 2 nights. We didn't come across any particularly good restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there were many within walking distance. On our leaving day the hotel was happy to keep our suitcase secure stored until we collected it in late afternoon. Staff were always polite, helpful and discreet.
“One night stay on business in Cologne”
Excellent hotel, enjoyed my stay - one night on business. The room was very clean and well-present, bed very comfortable, good shower. I had room service dinner in the evening which was very good. I also had a business breakfast meeting there in the morning with clients - they enjoyed the buffet and staff were helpful. Taxi rank just outside and the valet was very quick finding my case when I was rushing for my plane. I'd definitely return.

This hotel delivered in all areas. It is pristine, the rooms are comfortable, the staff polite and helpful and as for the breakfast, the choice was immense. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is good too - less than a 10 minute walk to the Dom.

“A gem of a hotel in Cologne”
This will be a first class choice for anyone. It is only five minutes walk from the start of the Town Centre but is in a very quiet neighbourhood. We were able to have the window open throughout the night without disturbance & we stayed there over a weekend. The staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is as good as you will get anywhere & is in the buffet style - fruit, cerals, cold meats/cheeses & cooked eggs/bacon. We also used room service as a substitute for going out for dinner on one evening & it was excellent. The bedrooms & public areas are modern & exceptionally clean throughout.
