"Our criteria was an affordable hotel with a front desk & relatively close to the train station. This hotel delivered precisely that. It was just across the square, not even 10 minutes easy walk. Our room faced the square & had a little balcony style window which could be opened but not sat on. There was both an outside shutter & curtains which were very effective in blocking out noise & light. We slept well & were not disturbed at all. "Our stay at Hotel Spicy was great!!! They provide shuttle service to the main area for 2 euros and it comes very often. We also did a Amalfi & Positano boat trip through the hotel where they had someone come pick us up directly from the hotel. There were so many great convenience factors and I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Sorrento! Be sure to check out the natural swimming hole that is just a walking distance from the hotel for an amazing free excursion! "
