"Lovely quirky old hotel but bathroom layout poor, could do with removing bath and putting a shower only, it would be much safer. Reception lady at 2pm was very abrupt and just said “check in not till 3” we only wanted to let her know we had parked in the patrons only car park. Breakfast staff and checking out lady, lovely."

"This is a GEM of a B&B! It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountains, and is an absolute slice of heaven. The mansion is truly beautiful, and has been renovated with an eye for design and careful respect of its past. "The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber.
