"Hotel Central is very well located just a block from the main train station, close to the lake and the famous bridge, right in the middle of town. The room was comfortable, very clean and the price was reasonable. The staff at the desk were friendly, well informed and very willing to answer questions. Breakfast was excellent too. "

"This hotel is just outside of Lucern. Easy to get to by train, but get off in Kriens not Lucern. Nice shopping close. Groceries, hiking gear, even an equestrian store. Staff is very nice, speaking many languages. Breakfast was plenty and a good array of food. Coffee machines were a big plus, could make all kinds of coffee delights. "

"We had a great four night stay at the Lubo! The room was clean and very well maintained and we had a gorgeous view of the town and the mountains in the distance. The free laundry facilities and coffee and tea were excellent! There are many shops and restaurants near by and walking around was perfect! We would absolutely recommend the Lubo to anyone and would stay again! "

Thoughtful comforts of supplying a transformer /electric plug and cell phone holder near toilet . Worn carpet in hallways and you have to step a five inch height to get to the shower stall . Clean linens and towels . "

"It must have some shady guests before ... there were signs to tell guests not to cook in the room, sign to tell guests about CHF 100 fine for letting the water leaked from under the shower door. BTW, the shower door is leaking if one uses its rain curtain shower head on top. The only way to avoid the water spilling on the door and leaking out of its bottom gap is to use the hand held. So it is an architectural design fault that the management tried to pin on the guests if they, God Forbid,...

"This was a very comfortable location. My family and I stayed in the family room. The kids loved the loft area. The hotel was convenient to the train. The parking was easy to use. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was nice! I would love to stay again one day "

"Wonderful and charming boutique hotel with a caring front desk staff. We stayed in the junior suite and enjoyed the lake views and small balcony where we were able to keep the doors open. The property is away from the busy old town core—yet close enough to walk in for dinner. If coming in from the train station highly recommend jumping on the bus—easy and convenient.
