"For the most part we enjoyed our stay and would come back. I don’t think the floors were swept during our stay at all. We had 3 beds in our room and only 2 beds were ever made the 3rd was never touched. And the bathroom counter was broke off and duct tape back. There was gas logs in our room and after a day of motorcycle riding in the cold rain it would have been nice to warm up by the fire. But the gas had been turned off to save the property money although I am sure my room cost did not get...

"Driving the Tail of the Dragon and staying at the Tapoco lodge as been on my bucket list for years. Neither disappointed. The folks at the lodge were super nice, dinner and drinks were lots of fun. The location is fantastic and the property is really enjoyable. The cabins are rustic cabins so don't expect 5 star accommodations but they're fun. "

"Everyone was so nice. I highly recommend staying here. It was peaceful and just as advertised. It was a little difficult to find where to check in, but they were adding signs."

"My husband and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at panther cabins. We had the best time. The cabin was perfect for us and romantic. The communication with management was wonder. Before perps when we we’re coming and the follow up after. Infact so much to do in the area. We want to bring the whole family when we do a vacation. That’s how much we enjoyed it. "

"What an incredibly lovely place! Paul, the host/manager(?), was especially accommodating and made an excellent breakfast. The only minor downside is the full-size bed, which is smaller than a queen. Otherwise, highly recommended!"

"Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain. "

"The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn."
