Interior is somewhat rustic and dated but it was extremely clean, room had a cabin like feel. Fridge and microwave were in room. Parking was also included."

"Lopez Island is about as laid back as you can get and this place fits right in. Management is very laid back. Check in process is the key being left on the desk by the front door. Rather expensive, but when there are few options on Lopez that's what you get. It was the second time I stayed there. The first time we stayed in a separate small house behind the hotel. I would have preferred that again, but we wound up with a room. Wasn't bad but the house is better. Management said to book through...

"The Orcas Hotel is for people who like the charm of past century architecture and conditions and don't mind paying an arm and leg for it. I was desperate for accommodations for a couple of nights at the peak of summer, so grabbed the couple of nights available here. The first night I payed $195 for a bed, bath, TV and floor fan. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. "
