Excellent service and amenities.

Not worth the money. I booked an ocean view suite - two levels of upgrades and the most expensive I could book when I booked. But our view was mostly of other building and there was also a large unsightly pipe obstructing the view. I even asked the front desk if I got the correct room and was told I did. Bed was not very comfortable. Both of our backs were sore after just one night. In-room coffee was like tea and came far from meeting expectations. Thermostat was too low and un-readable in the dark. Shower was quite small.

My wife and I just spent a truly miserable evening "not sleeping" in Room #3 at Le Petit Pali. The problem was a continuously cycling ice machine outside our door that made sleeping virtually impossible. Adding to the discomfort, the two windows that face the parking lot are difficult to either open and even harder to close apparently because the threads on both cranks are stripped. What's most frustrating is that we arrived from LA on an earlier United flight and stopped by your hotel around noon yesterday to see if we could possibly check-in early. The well coiffed and friendly gentleman at the front desk did a nice job explaining the Happy Hour offerings as well as Breakfast but said that check-in wasn't until 3pm. He did, however agree to move our ground floor room to the 2nd floor and I actually watched him change our room location in the computer. Unfortunately, when we did check-in later that evening, we were told by a young lady that the only room left was #3 -- indicating that we had apparently been "bumped" by someone who likely refused to stay in that sad, dark, corner room with the mushy mattress. My wife and I could tolerate the dreary corner location and mushy mattress for the one night we were staying but then that damn noisy ice machine began to cycle -- over and over again making sleeping virtually impossible even after I took a sleeping pill and turned on Spotify's sleep inducing music channel
