Montenegro Scuba Diving Vacations

This is a boutique hotel with only a few rooms in a fabulous position in the village of Donja Lastva, about one mile from Tivat, right on the waterfront overlooking Boka Bay. Cleanliness is excellent and the reception staff speak good English and are exceedingly helpful. It is a 19th century two storey building and has no lift so this should be borne in mind for those with limited mobility. There are two restaurants in the village one of which, Punto Crudo, is connected to the hotel and provides an excellent free breakfast to hotel guests. Dinner is served from 5.00 pm and the food is of a good international standard although the menu is limited. Big Ben restaurant is about 700 metres away towards Tivat. This is a lively, noisy restaurant which should appeal to younger people. There are numerous restaurants a little further on in Tivat at various price levels and are just a short taxi ride away. There are minor inconveniences like no local taxis near the hotel (they are called to the hotel from Tivat); no snacks, just drinks, are available at the hotel between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm but the excellent breakfast should see one through the day. I recommend this hotel for those who enjoy peaceful surroundings and the ability to swim in the sea directly from the hotel quay.

We loved this hotel. It's in a lovely location, very quiet. Hotel is beautiful, and our room seemed clean. Highly recommend!

Hotel located in center of town. Walking distance to all sights. Parking in center city lot. Nominally 5*, but generally looks to be more 4*. (Maybe need to adjust rating scale for Montenegro.) (But price is very reasonable - we have best room in the hotel for $180/night.) Dining room is comfortable, cheap and pretty good (not great) food. Portions huge, everything cooked to order. Room is huge, but is basically the attic, and it takes a while to cool down after AC turned on. No view from our room. (Attic dormer windows.) Breakfast in hotel is good and ample -order from menu - included with room. (But limited selection.) Hotel appears to have only 9 rooms, and dining areas accommodate over 50 indoors and more than that outdoors. From what I can tell, this is the only good hotel in or near Cetinje. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.
