I was lucky to be the only one amongst the 4 of us that had a room booked to get a lovely view of the Petronas towers. Because everything else in the room was old and falling apart. The sockets were coming out of the wall, the bedding had holes and foundation stains in them, the bathroom had mold and paint coming off the ceiling. the shower door wouldn't close and it looked like it had grime all over the tiles and walls...it was probably bleached so badly the colour had gone. Bath mat did not get changed at all during my 7 night stay, no hand/face towels for the first few days, then changing them was hit and miss, and at some point they took them away and not replaced them...bath towels were really old, had gone from white to some dirty grey, again with holes in them and at some point when replaced they had hair from other people. It is a very convenient hotel if you have business going on in the centre, and the view I got was lovely, but that aside it needs some serious renovation.

The staff was friendly. The premises were well kept. But common sense hospitality was completely missing. Because we were only staying one night, they gave us a room directly in front of the pickle ball courts. People were using it and blasting loud music until after 1:15 in the morning. The staff knew what they were doing. I can look past the cockroach encounter and even the towel mishap but when staff purposefully give you a "bad room" to see if you complain or not, that's horrible customer service.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Danna. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome. From the porters, concierges & reception team to housekeeping, the F&B staff & the Resort Manager, everyone was professional, warm & cheerful, & nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Remarkably staff appeared to know which room we were staying in, how long we had been there & even how much time remained of our holiday. We were made to feel very special, something we saw being extended to all guests throughout our stay. We're not usually ones for any fuss, but all the thoughtful touches were delivered so discreetly and naturally that it simply enhanced the experience. Our room (419), a Grand Marina View room, was exceptionally spacious & comfortable, with a king-size bed, armchairs, dressing table, two wardrobes, plenty of storage, a large balcony & a large bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in rain shower & double sinks. We also appreciated the daily replenishment of filtered water, Nespresso pods & TWG tea bags, along with delicious gluten-free sweet treats to accommodate a dietary requirement. Housekeeping was outstanding throughout (with special thanks to Karmila, Fatin & Amim for their excellent service). The restaurants were all superb & catered for allergens very well; staff awareness & knowledge of ingredients made us feel confident we were in safe hands. Special thanks to Hakimi, Ilah, Fatihah, the Chefs & all the F&B team.
