The check in process was good, what i didn't like was the "front desk" had these huge monitors that blocked the person from acknowledging that she was aware that we were there when she was on the phone and after when she was finishing off the task. Once she interacted with us, she was very efficient and polite. The other thing I wasn't impressed with was the ladies washroom at the pool was closed for services, and I didn't realize this until I had to use it. Our room was probably one of the furthest from the pool so I found that very inconvenient. Having said that the pool, hot tubs, and chairs were great. Bathroom was huge, though the body wash dispenser didn't work. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean.

Spent a lot to stay at this resort. They were still cleaning my room at 3:45pm When check-in is 4. Got the room, power went out for the entire resort around 9pm. There was limited updates, still no power the next morning. Told they had no idea when power would be back. Everything was closed and shut down. We decided to play it safe and tried to check out a day early and head home. The front desk told us we would get a refund for that night and would put a note on file. Found out power wasn’t restored until the following day at 6am… if we would have stayed we would have had no power, no hot water, no food for our entire stay. Then just found out they are not offering refunds for the day we left early. Shame on copperpoint resort. I will not go back there

No electricity for more than 24hrs

First impression in reception was a let down. Staff member checking is in told us about a recent power outage and that the lift was no working. He sniggered with an “oh and your on the 3rd floor” Disappointed that no bar or restaurant. We had great food in Pint & Fork across the road. The room was good and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Did not try complementary breakfast as we just wanted to get out of there and we grabbed breakfast in Tim Hortons.
