Taiwan Kid friendly Vacations

This was supposed to be a good quality hotel. But as soon as you get to your floor you can tell it was not. The hall carpet is layered on top of old carpet and looks very bad. They did bot come around to clean the rooms until after 7:00pm. We told the staff in the restaurant 4 days in a row that the apple juice tasted like water with a slight taste of apple juice. They refused to fix it. The breakfast that we paid extra for was not good. The staff appeared very unhappy with their job. We were supposed to have a couch in our room, instead we had one uncomfortable chair. I will not go back to this hotel.

The hotel reminds me of the 1990's heyday-era in Japan. The room was big and clean and we enjoyed it, but it looked dated and a little worn. For instance, the carpet is not perfectly clean...like it was definitely clean from a vacuum point of view, but you could tell that in 2018, etc., someone spilled something over a bit of it and the hotel did their best. If this type of thing is an issue, you may not want to stay here. But we wanted a basic, clean hotel with a big room, and it was very nice to stretch out after being in tighter accommodations. The pool was fine, although the hot tub wasn't all that hot. One plus: Depending on when you go, you may line up with a delightful night market at the neighboring park. We did and it was wonderful. So, while our original idea was "get us closer to the airport on our last day", it turned out to be a wonderful location with respect to the night market. The market had an atmosphere of a summer fair and is largely locals (assumed), since this is not one of the famous ones in neighboring Taipei. Overall - reasonable value.

Excellent location next to the Taipei Main Station which is a big travel hub. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods. Staff was very helpful

Staffs are helpful and property is clean

Hotel is located at the other side of the famous metro exit 6 in Ximending, just opposite of the famous eating place tian tian li in Ximending.
