Great location beside RDGC and you can watch the early starters whilst having breakfast! Hotel fine but should invest in room (I had a single on ground floor in main building) to be better. It was nothing more than average room/bed.

Nice place our bathroom was tiny almost couldn’t fit in the shower. Nice beds comfortable nice view of river. Good walkable neighborhood. Breakfast was nice.

Everything about our stay was 5 star!! The staff, when checking in, was very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant staff were amazing. Their service was excellent. They were very friendly and outgoing. The place was immaculate. Very nicely decorated. The rooms were so beautiful!! If we were to visit again, I would definitely be booking this place again.

Just a brilliant long weekend. Check in and check out could not have been easier. Loved our time in the lodge and all the facilities were fantastic. We will absolutely be staying again!

Bunchrew House Hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Inverness. The property has a beautiful historic character, with a quiet setting right on the water that makes it feel peaceful and removed while still being close enough to Inverness to explore easily. The grounds are scenic, the views over the Beauly Firth are excellent, and the building itself has a lot of charm without feeling overly formal. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, which made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. Our room was comfortable, clean, and full of old-world character, with the kind of atmosphere you hope for when booking a historic Scottish hotel. The common areas were also lovely, especially for relaxing in the evening after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast and dining were both enjoyable, with good service and a pleasant setting. What stood out most was the overall atmosphere: quiet, scenic, traditional, and genuinely memorable. It felt like a proper Highland hotel experience rather than a generic stay. I would definitely recommend Bunchrew House Hotel to anyone visiting Inverness who wants something with character, history, and a beautiful waterside location. It is especially well suited for couples, quiet getaways, or travelers who want a more atmospheric stay than a standard city hotel.

Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay!
